Course Description:
Discover the fundamentals of sculpting through an immersive, hands-on experience with clay.
This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to introduce you to essential sculpting techniques while encouraging personal expression and creativity. Guided by artist Mariam Faried, you’ll learn how to shape, build, and bring your ideas to life in three dimensions.
Course Outcome:
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created at least one fully realized, standing clay sculpture inspired by your own concept or vision.

Each session will focus on key sculpting skills, including:
• Understanding form, balance, and structure
• Working with clay and foam as sculptural materials
• Sketching and planning your design
• Building armatures and supporting structures
• Sculpting techniques for shaping and detail
