WORKSHOP TITLE

PORTRAIT & FIGURATIVE  DRAWING

COURSE DESCRIPTION 

Throughout this workshop you will learn all about Portrait and Figure Drawing starting from the basics till you master it! 

COURSE SYLLABUS/OUTLINE BY SESSION 

LEVEL I 

Session 1:

• Introduction to Human Anatomy and Skeleton Proportions 
• Axis of Human Body, Introduction to Anatomical Landmarks, Movable Masses Front and side view

Session 2: 

• Figure drawing
• Balance, Rhythm, Line of Action, Gesture Drawing, Lines of Force, Contrapposto Pose

Session 3:

• Figure drawing
• 3D Volumes Building a Drawing, Structure to Volume
• Attaching volumes to structure: Dynamic standing pose
• Transitioning volumes: The dramatic pose
• Draw different poses

Session 4: 

• Final project

LEVEL II

Session 1: 

• Human muscles, The Shoulder Girdle and Torso and upper muscles. 
• how to simplify the concept of light hitting the figure, as well as how to render it on your drawing. After,

Session 2:

•  The Limbs 
• how to use a simple, constructive approach to drawing the arms and legs. How to make analogies between the upper and lower limb in order to understand and draw this area of the body with greater confidence

Session 3: 

• The rendering
• will show you how drawing rendering techniques You will learn how to apply these principles in a long pose. construction lines to the rendering of light and shadow.

Session 4:

• Final project

COURSE OUTCOME 

In this course you’ll be able to draw a free style portrait using the skills and knowledge acquired through the workshop.

الفنان أحمد عبد الفتاح مواليد سنة 1987، مصور مصري معاصر. •

• يعمل مدرسا مساعدا بكلية الفنون الجميلة جامعة الأقصر، قسم التصوير.

• حصل على بكالوريوس الفنون الجميلة سنة 2011 بتقدير ممتاز والأول على الكلية.

• حصل على درجة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة تخصص تصوير بعنوان " أثر الوسائط المستحدثة على فن التصوير المعاصر" سنة 2018.

• دارس في مرحلة الدكتوراه في مجال الواقع الافتراضي في الفن بعنوان" الواقع الافتراضي كمرجعية بصرية لأعمال انطباعية في فن التصوير وإعادة صياغتها بتقنياته الحديثة 

• عرضت اعماله في نطاق واسع بين المعارض العالمية في المانيا وإيطاليا وروسا والبحرين ولندن ونيويورك وجواتيمالا والامارات العربية والسعودية، بجانب المعارض والفعاليات المحلية في مصر. 

• له خبرة أكثر من 11 سنة في مجال تعليم الفن لالف الطلاب في المجال الأكاديمي للفن

• حصل سنة 2022 على جائزتين التصوير في مسابقة البنك الاهلي للبورتريه واقتناء اعماله في المتحف الدائم للبنك.

• تم تكريمه في مهرجان الشباب بروسيا سنة 2017 واختياره من ضمن أفضل 30 موهبة شابة في المهرجان العالمي للشباب والطلبة في روسيا للقاء الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتن

• حصل سنة 2015 على جائزة كليوباترا المركز الأول في مراسم سيوه 2015، 

• وحصل على المركز الثاني عالميا في مسابقة ناصر بن حمد العالمية للإبداع الشبابي 2016 كما تم تكريمه من الأمير ناصر بن حمد بمملكة البحرين، •

• وله العديد من الجوائز في المجالات الأخرى مثل جائزة يوم مبدعي يوتيوب في مصر 2015، • وجائزة Behance التقديرية في مجال الرسم الرقمي 2016.
